In 2015, bluelight, a jazz group from Akron, Ohio, released their debut self titled album. Phil Anderson, their keyboardist and bandleader, came to me with the raw files from those sessions and asked me to build original songs using their instrumentation. The results of our collaboration inspired TVNNELS.

Following in the theme of their record, I used field recordings of subway stations, mostly in NYC, where I live and Phil lived for years. Each of my verses is a reflection of my experiences riding the MTA.

This is by far the prettiest, most conversational content I've released to date. It's a glimpse into what I sound like when the Filthbeast is at bay. I might even show my grandma. Hope you dig it.
